The Creators Project
Had a great time last Saturday at The Creators Project party in London. The party was for free, drinks inside were for free.
Some really good interactive art pieces as well (my favorite was UVA’s Triptych) and good concert by Mark Ronson, Spank Rock. And Kele simply killed it.

Tube’s Reading Club #001
It’s been a week since I came to London. And without my bike I have to use Tube.
It takes about 30-40 mins to get to the studio so here is a couple of activities you can do…
1. Nothing (it’s so crowded you can barely move)
2. Sleep (not my favorite thing in public space)
3. Play games on iPhone (my second favorite activity, Doodle Jump is pretty good!)
4. Read books / magazines / newspapers (this is the winner)
Activity number 4 made me create this blog-category.

Had a nice afternoon on Gerrit Rietveld Graduation Show with Knobloch family.
Now have to finish packing myself and tomorrow long way to Brussels and then London. Train trip!

In your face!
Today, we finally had a presentation of our P O R N assignment (by Bart de Baets – who had a great t-shirt, look for Bob Marley on the pictures!).
So it’s been a long day! I had to buy papers then print then bind it (I am talking about my book – Dangerous Tides – more info soon). But everything did work out great so I am a happy person now again. Thanks Kamila!
And I wasn’t only one with finishing things in the last minute…

Rewind the Nevermind with Sisi Aress
This week has been quite intense. We had a workshop with Sisi Aress (Rebecca Stephany & Christine Corell). I had my struggle going on during the workshop but it was fun! I am glad for struggles like that when it shakes with your “work-style” and you keep questioning yourself How to make it other way.

Let’s say that I am a movie fan and let’s say I like to share things. That’s why I came up with an idea of not-so-regular movie screenings. But not just whatever movies. I made up a simple concept of originals vs remakes. So people who COME, they VOTE and then WATCH.

Year of Mixtapes
Chrissy Murderbot’s Year of Mixtapes
1) Every mix will (more or less) have a theme of some sort.
2) All mixes will be recorded live in one take (although I may do some post-production editing to get things down to a reasonable time).
3) No repeats—no song will pop up twice in this blog.
4) Likewise, no song that has previously appeared in a mix of mine published on the web (for instance, here) will pop up on this blog. Unless I get really lazy one week and post one of those mixes on this blog, which will probably happen at some point.
5) If it’s a live set (i.e. somebody recorded me DJing at some party and gave me the audio and I’m posting it here), then rules 3 & 4 are out the window.
6) Every mix will be timed to fit on either a CDR or a cassette tape.
7) I’m open to requests. I might not pay them any attention whatsoever, but then again I might. Email me.
